About
Astha Raut is the daughter of folk singer Hari Bahadur Raut and lyricist Sabitri Raut. She grew up singing and dancing. Later, she became one of Nepal’s popular pop singers.
In 2013, she released an album called Aadhar. It had hit songs like “Chaubandi Ma Patuki” and “Jhumke Bulaki.” The album won her the Best Pop Female Vocal award. She has since coached singers on The Voice of Nepal. She also sings playback songs for Nepali films.
