Over the past decade, Bishnu Prasad Paudel has often served as Minister of Finance. He held this role in four separate governments, led by K.P. Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, between 2015 and 2025. He has also served as Deputy Prime Minister several times. In 2021, he briefly held the Home Affairs job too. He left government when a temporary administration took over after the 2025 Gen Z protests.
